Dear Experts
we have a sap4.6c and os as UNIX and db as oracle. Now we need to change its IP ADDRESS Info.'
Will it affect the system when IP address is changed.
Hello,
Please see notes.
403708 Changing an IP address
88346 Changing the RFC destination if IP changes are made
Internally, SAP systems use host names to communicate. As a result, you
should experience no problems when you change an IP address.

Are you going to change full subnet or only just IP? Also make sure that if you any specific firewall ports opened for your server. You need to check Printer, SAProuter, 3rd party interfaces, RFC connections if they are hardcoded using IP.

If I understand you corretly you wish to change the system's ip address under which it can be reached. In that case you should not have any problems because the SAP system uses the physical hostname of the server (or a virtual hostname if that option was selected during installation) and not the ip address.
Nonetheless you have to make sure that the DNS resolve works for the new ip address after the ip address changed.
