Trip status 'In Process'

Friends!

A trip in PR05 is showing the status as 'In Process' with a icon of a lock. What does this mean and how to fix it. It was not allowing to approve. I approved it using PRAP. Now I can't settle it because it's status is Trip Approved/Open.

Please help.

Hello,

In that case please check whether the trip is stuck in some workflow or locked on useru2019s id. It may happen while you were approving the claim some one was changing the trip.

In such cases tripu2019s status will not be able to set approved and trip will be locked on that particular user. And it will also not get unlocked automatically.

Please check the employee has set the trip to OPEN from the TRIP STATUS icon ??

Hello,

What is trip period? If the period is in future I believe it shows that type of icon.

Kindly do let me know if that is not a case.

The trip period is in past.

Hi,

are you using ESS to input?

if yes, when employee choose "SAVE" not "SAVE and SEND"

trip status will be "in process"

to make it available to approve, choose final action on ess travel of "SAVE and SEND"

then you can approve it.

We not not using ESS We are facing this problem only with one trip. All other trip are being processed normally.
