Receiver FTP

Hi,

I am using Receiver FTP content conversion and generating a CSV file

I have 6 records output in the file and unfortunately starts with an empty two lines.

I have used the following parameters

File Encoding: UTF-8

FCC Parameters:

Record.endSeparator = 'nl'

Record.fieldSeparator= ,

Let me know whether anything else needs to be given on the same.

Hi,

Totally agreed with hareen , u can use Document offset = 2 to remove initial lines.

As Document Offset ignores lines from top

Hi Krish,

If you would like to eleminate the first empty lines, then use the parameter Document offset = 2 in Content conversion parameters.

The conversion paramters specified by you are enough.

Dear Friend,

Document offset is not possible in Receiver File communication channel.

Please check your receiver message structure.

Krish, the parameters specified by you should be ok to work.

If you know which one generate empty line, like below, Tail structure generate blank line, you can use following in FCC to remove the blank lines

Tail.fieldFixedLengths 0

Tail.fixedLengthTooShortHandling Cut

Tail.endSeparator '0'
