Access Enforcer login

Hi,

We are on Virsa GRC 5.2 version and when a user is trying to login into Access Enforcer using his Windows network password, its showing as ' Invalid Password'. The network team has reset it twice, did not work. I changed it in AE under the administration tab, did not work it.

We checked the LDAP and the password change history showed the log as i changed it.

Any idea how is he unable to login to AE using his windows network password while he is able to access all other apps using the same?

Also if you can tell me how/where to start looking into it?

Thanks.

You have set up CUP to use LDAP for authentication, have you?

You have configured LDAP mapping for the LDAP connector in CUP?

If that's not working, try linking LDAP to UME for authentication and set CUP Authentication Data Source to UME.

Hi,

Is the issue happening with only 1 user ID? Did you check the validity of the user? This should be troubleshooted on a trail and error. Check the mentioned and also provide any other information which is relevant, i.e., recent changes made, patches applied etc. which may help to identify the root cause.

Rgds,
