While Importing Data File from Ports using MDIS, I got the following Error,
At the same time, I am not able to see the Data file either in Arcive/Exception/Ready Folder.
In the data file I was not able to see any character at the specified location.
line 17553, char 3.
Can any one share experience with this error handling.
1. Where could the data file gone?
2. How can we fix this error?
Looks like there is some mismatch with file encoding.
MDM is expecting file in UTF format.
Open xml file in text editor and save it with UTF encoding.
Then try opening UTF encoded file in Import Manager.

Seems there is an issue with the date fromat in the incoming file,Please check the data format in the schema and xml file.
One more ensure that the schema used should be UTF 8/Unicode.
