Determine System for Tax Calculation

Does anyone know of any way to control the following configuration setting in SRM 7.0 via a BADI?

"Determine System for Tax Calculation"

We are connected to multiple systems. One in Europe which does not calculate tax an one in the U.S. which does. I want to write logic so that for the European ERP system the config setting for this is: "NO TAX CALCULATION" and for the U.S. it should be "TAX CALCULATION OCCURS in BACKEND".

Hi paul,

I dont think you need nay badi for this .. your setting determin tax at backend system should work based on the the what ever backedn system is dtermined by you ...

you can maintain tax code in Determin tax code for product category and company .. there you have field called SRC system there based on you backend system define you tax code say V8 for Eupore and V1 for US and system will popuate the tax code accordingly .... finally the calculation will happen only in the respective backend system based on tax code ..
