SRM 5.0 standalone scenario Error

Hello Folks,

I am trying out the standalone scenario with out connecting to any backend...

I have created the organisation structure with some company code details and blah...

I am able to create the shopping cart ..but PO status shows as Held..when i check the error ..i got the below

Comm. error checking the account assignment for Purchase Order 3..... in system (SRM logical sys name..)

I am spinning around this..if some one have already faced..please share ur thoughts on this error

I hope for generating PO its not mandatory to have backend system..

Hi,

Please check "Define System Landscape" customizing in SPRO transaction.

Check the "FI Valid" field. If it is "real time backend validation of FI data", you need backend connection.

Please change it to "no validation of FI data".

Thanks for the reply..I have maintained the settings as local validation of FI Data..

Do i need to chagne it No validation of FI data...?

if we need to use the No validation of FI data for standalone scenario ..then in which case we will be using the local validation of FI data..
