Configuration Guide

Hi everybody,

i am looking for the Self-Service Procurement:

Configuration Guide for SRM 5.0. At the service marketplace I could only find the guide for SRM 4.0. Does anybody know where to get it?

Though what has been suggested by the guys is right

that, you have to refer to Solution Manager for

this.But why are you looking for SSP 5.0 Config

Guide, because what ever the guide for 4.0 gives

is enough for doing the configurations.Only a few

changes have been made.Still you are having any

doubt, please free to contact me.

I am in a similar position. I do not have access to solution manager and I am attempting to configure SUS with the outdated document. I have completed everything in the guide but without success. Do you have a guide or time to discuss my scenario? Thanks,

Hi Achim,

You cannot find the Configuration Guide for SRM 5.0 on service marketplace because it does not exist. mySAP SRM 5.0 is based on SAP Solution Manager. The use of SAP Solution Manager is mandatory for mySAP SRM 5.0. So, for configuring Self-Service Procurement you need to refer Solution Manager.

Hello AD,

From SRM50 all config guides are provided in SAP Solution Manager contents. That means you have to install the SAP Solution Manager. Please see /thread/175924 [original link is broken]
