New font - no bold/italic

Experts,

I had the request to change the font of my smartform. The font is Arial and was not available in this system.

I went to SE73, clicked on Install TrueType Font.

Font name: ZARIAL

I clicked both checkboxes (Font attribute BOLD/ITALIC)

Uploaded the Arial.ttf file that is on my computer

I can use this new font in my smartstyle but when I try to add the bold/italic it doesn't work. In the preview you get on the smartstyle editor it works but not on the smartforms.

Hi,

You also need to upload the font files ARIALBD.TTF, ARIALI.TTF and ARIALBI.TTF.

e.g. When you select the flag Bold, you need to upload the file ARIALBD.TTF etc..

Client wants to use Arial so I uploaded the other files also and it works now.

It'd be a lot easier to just use Helvetica instead.
