Hi Experts:
We are running into some space issues within our IDES server. We are running 4.70 SR 2.00 with Oracle 9.2 DB.
I was wondering if there is anything within the system that we could delete.
I had my eye on these folders:
F:\usr\sap\trans\cofiles
F:\usr\sap\trans\data
F:\oracle\IDS\sapdata2\undo_1
I have already cleaned up the EPS folders.
The other question I have relates to using partition magic to transfer extra space from two of the other drives. What are your thoughts on this.
Thanks
Imran
Imran,
I would first amke a backup image of all the drives on the server using norton ghost or drive image or similar software before i start resizing my partitions. If something goes wrong during resizing then those partitions will be lost. Please take a back up before attempting to resize partitions.
Thanks.
Mikir.

Thanks Peter:
I really appreciate all your help with this.
I understand about the delay...no worries at all. We have all been there at one point or another.

HI Peter:
Could you provide me some guidance on this document. Is this a separate document or part of another larger document. I have searched on Marketplace, but without much luck.
Any guidance would be appreciated.

\usr\sap\trans and below belongs to the transport system.
see documentation (cleaning up transport directory) of tp.
