Error while settlement of WBS - Funds Management

Hi,

We have maintain derivation rule as - WBS to Fund Center. This Fund center is DUMMY because we need not want to control WBS through Funds Management.

There is always one Cost center in each WBS. while settling this WBS we are getting error as -

Asset ABC 000127000000 0000: no subnumber with FM assignment DUMMY / /

Message no. AW851

ABC - Company code

000127000000 - asset number

DUMMY - Fund center

HI,

I check note 446029. This note is for release release 4.6 and we have ECC6 (release 6).

I maintain rule as WBS to Fund Center (CCin WBS master) and try. But error still exist.

So, while posting to WBS it derives DUMMY FC and Cost Center.

Then you settle WBS to asset?

It can be because of next situation.

You posted with to WBS with FC Dummy, but in Asset master data you maintain FC=A1, or this field is empty(it could be not only for FC, but for func.area, fund etc.)

Hi,

I made changes in derivation rule as WBS to FC M11000 and posted transaction by using FC M11000. (tested for new WBS and new asset number)

For this FC M11000 , Fund is M100.

Asset master also has FC M11000. But while settlement error still exist as -

Hi,

We dont want to control WBS through FM. So I am using DUMMY FC and Fund in derivation rule. I made this message as warning. then system allows to proceed and then give me another error as -

Account object Funds Center differs from that in asset master record

Message no. AAPO189

Because in asset master record different FC is there which is derived from CC in asset master record. suggest.

Hi, 1 change FC in AS02 to dummy if it applicable.

2 Check note 618269 it applicable.

3 remove FC from asset master data

But... I couldn't find the solution

I try to TRACE from FMDERIVE too, but when I go to KO88, FMDERIVE's trace doesn't track anything.

Any help to throw some more light on this thread, would be very useful.
