Report S ALR 87013558 - Lead colum length

Dear experts,

I have a requirement where the report Report S ALR 87013558 lead column display WBS (30) no and its long description (40).

We're on ECC 6.0, and the lead column length was limited on 55 chars. Is there any way around to extend the length of the lead column.

use CJE5 transaction to change column formatting for 12KST1A. That should address your requirement.

Thank you for the quick response, I've done what you guide however, during the report when I call characteristic display on the lead column it gives me warning Message no. KY459 Do not build lead column with more than 55 characters

Diagnosis

If all the column contents that you have selected, were transferred to

the lead column, the resulting width would exceed the maximum.

System Response

The column contents are not transferred to the lead column.

Procedure

In the value set, select a number of fields so that the resulting lead

column width does not exceed 55 characters.
