Hi Friends,
Need your help on the following issue. This one is the standard - anybody can try.
Created 1st material (Header) u2013MAT1 with Base Unit of Measure as BOX & Sales Unit of Measure as EA (Conversion 6EA = 1 BOX). Item cat grp u2013 ERLA
Created 2nd material (Item)u2013 MAT2 with Base Unit of Measure as EA
Now created sales BOM with (Header) u2013MAT1 (Components as MAT2 of 6 EA)
While creating SO I will expect the same proportionate UOM to come.
I mean If will put
1 EA MAT1 u2013 MAT2 should come 1 EA (Result : MAT2 is coming 2 EA Not OK )
2 EA MAT1 u2013 MAT2 should come 2 EA (Result : MAT2 is coming 2 EA - OK )
3 EA MAT1 u2013 MAT2 should come 3 EA (Result : MAT2 is coming 3 EA - OK )
4 EA MAT1 u2013 MAT2 should come 4 EA (Result : MAT2 is coming 5 EA u2013 Not OK )
5 EA MAT1 u2013 MAT2 should come 5 EA (Result : MAT2 is coming 5 EA - OK )
6 EA MAT1 u2013 MAT2 should come 6 EA (Result : MAT2 is coming 6 EA - OK )
If the unit of measure of the header is in BOX then the components are coming in the multiplication of 6 EA u2013 which is very OK
Could you please help...

Hello Ranjan,
In your example
- Base unit for Header is BOX, and Sales Unit is EA (1 BOX= 6 EA)
- Base unit for Sub Item in EA.
It looks the UOM at header and sub item are not align,
I think the you need to maintain the EA as Base Unit of measure and BOX as Sales Unit for Header Material. for Sub item EA is ok.
