Thank you very much to all who ever responded so far....This issue was resolved.... Actually MDM server was password protected and asking for one more password apart from db2sid. I used to give same password for both...So I couldn't do anything. This password protection was enabled due to MDM integration to other systems like..portal...etc..
Thanks,
Srini
Hello Srini,
Where is your user defined? in LDAP or in Console?

Hi Srini,
As you are able to connect to the repositories, I feel that when you go for creation of repository it gets created in your DBMS. Now i would suggest you to mount MDM repositories which will show you all existing and newly created MDM repositories in your DBMS.
For mounting MDM repositories you must have DBMS user name and password.
In the Console Hierarchy tree, right-click on the MDM Server and choose Mount Repository from the context menu, or select the tree node and choose Repositories > Mount from the main menu.
2. MDM opens the Mount MDM Repository dialog shown with the DBMS Name, Login, and Password fields enabled.

Hi Srini,
Are you able to perform other operations on repositories like Load/Unload etc. Please check may be you have enabled read only access for MDM console and thus are not able to perform any operation.
Connect to repository different from accessing MDM repository, check are you able to mount MDM repositories or not since you can connect to repositories with read only access too.

Dear Srinivas,
You get this error when you have not made connection with the database, Please check whether you have connected to the database.

Pramod
