Can a template have a mirrored task

Is it possible to create a mirrored task in a template that points to a task in another template?

Or are mirrored tasks only possible in projects?

Why would you want to have that??? Templates are meant to provide a structure that you can adapt to create new structures.

If a template has a mirrored task pointing to another task of another template, which one would it really mirror when it is adapted!!

That was the argument behind templates not allowing mirrored tasks.

As for your question, the answer is "No".

This could be helpful if you have a large number of templates that consist partly of the same entities (tasks, roles).

With the help of mirrored tasks I hoped to be able to define these common entities at a common place.

Instead of that, I will probably use checklist reference, which serve a similar purpose.
