I have a question regarding conditions pricing for materials, for use within a sales order.
I can current set up a material code with prices on a sliding scale, i.e. up to 1 item = 1000, up to 2 = 900, up to 5 = 800. So for example if I buy 3 items, the amount would be 3 x 800 = 2400
What I need to do is different, I want to set similar types of items, but base it on the 1st item is always 1000, 2nd items is always 900, 3-5 is 800. So using the same example the amount would be 1000 + 900 + 800 = 2700
How do I achieve this?
At present I seem to only be able to do this with using different material codes and there must be an easier way.

Scales always maintained in relation to the qtty & price/discount wrt; single material.
Could not get your requirement clearly,
eg; If M1 - 3 ea
scales are as mentionied in your eg, then
in sales order, price should be calculated
M1 - 3
1ea = 1000
1-2 ea = 900
2-3 ea = 800
Then price has to pick for M1 as = 11000+ 1900+1*800 ( based on interval scale)
in cond type details, change scale type to "D=Graduated Scale",so that system calculates the prices based on Intervals maintained in Cond record.

Many thanks, has started to point me in the right direct.
However the "Scale Basis" does not have an option D for Graduated scale, currently these options are display only. Is this choice normally standard. I Only have:
B Value
C Quantity
D Gross Weight
E Net weight
F Volume - would it be this one?
G Scale based on a formula
S number of shipping units
I can access both 4.7 and 6 and both versions are the same?
