Hi

i am connecting extertnal server using SAP archive link interface HTTP 4.5

i have done following conifguration:

1) Transaction Code :OACO : Define Content Repository

Create your content repository : ZS ( XYZ is your content repository)

Document Area : Archive link

Storage type :HTTP content Server

Version no. : 0045

HTTP Server :Enter IP address of content server

Port No : 9025

HTTP Script :Default.aspx

2) Transaction Code :OACT : Define Content Category

Create your content category : ZABC

Document Area : Archive link

Content Rep : ZS

Now when i click on test connection in OACo tcode.. it gives me error Content repository ZS does not exist

even i can see in my HTTP API , i have returned parameters contRep= 'FD'

but still i am getting same error.

when i see in SMICM ICM_DEv trace ... it returns HTTP 200 Ok status code .... but in OAC0 screen test connection says ZS does not exist

please suggest some solution

Thanks

sandeep

Hi Sandeep,

Have you checked the configuration on the external server side? Maybe some certificates are missing or similar and that's why SAP doesn't recognize the content repository.

Ultimately, you could start debugging when clicking on "Test connection" stop on statement "MESSAGE" and see why you're getting that error message.

Cheers.

Hi David

i am using 3rd party software(dms SERVER) and connecting it using archive link interface SAP HTTP 4.5 AL

i have deleted ZS and tried to create a new repository with name FD.when i give inputs in OACO and click on test connection it gives me information Content repository FD does not exist

here is my HTTP trace at receiver content server side

one change which i have observed in this trace is .. this trace is showing trace agent as SAP Web application server ... ideally it should show user agent :SAP HTTP

Please suggest me some solution.

Thanks

Dear all,

my issue is resolved.I solved my issue myself

solution: SAP sends HTTP request in the form of URL like

http://serverip:port/GET /Default.aspx?serverInfo&pVersion=0045&contRep=FD HTTP/1.0

Now your response should contain string contRep="FD"

dont forget double quotes on repository name coz SAP program matches string with double quotes. if you will return value like this contRep=FD

this will through error.

Thanks
