routing code is not updating

plant on the order is changed from 4290 to 4260, the routing code is not updating.

What could be the reason

Hi,

Changing Plant in Order doesnt have any impact on route, until unless it impacts on Shipping Point. if shipping point changed because of Plant , then route will be re-determined. It is because departure zone will pick from Shipping Point, not from the Plant.

- Route can be re-determined , in any changes occured in below fields,

- Shipping Point

- Shipping Conditions

- Ship to Party

Check in the configuration, the route determination has been maintained for the departure zone (for the plant 4260 -departure zone and ship-to destination zone). If not, then maintain at SPRO --> Logistics execution --> Transportation --> Basic Shipping functions --> Routes --> Route determination --> Maintain Route determination.

After maintaining then re-try in the sales order, by changing back to old plant and again to plant 4260.
