Error MUT-02041 : While exporting the data from Java system.

Dear Friends,

When exporting data from Java system (source system) using SAPINST. We are getting

the below error in 4 of 5 (Archiving SDM Repository) stage.

Error :

MUT-02041 SDM call of createsdmkitjar ends with returncode 2

With this, I am unable to proceed further. Please help me on this to proceed further.

Hi All,

I could find the below error log from sapinst.log file.

looks like you have to again re-try the export.

Thanks for your response... But here I am facing the above problem while exporting the data from Source system.

I am unable to complete data export stage. Please let me know if you have any solution for data export stage errors.

Hi Sunil,

I have tried restarting the same export step using sapinst, but still getting the same error at stage 4 of 5 (Archiving SDM Repository) stage.

Hi All,

Thanks for your help...

By bypassing that error, I could able to export the data.

But I am strucked in importing stage... I am not sure, do we need to install database also. Can some one please help me in providing step by step procedure to restore the exported data to target system using sapinst (export & import method).

Yup, you have to install the database as same version as your source system including DB patch.

install SCS.

Then import your export using SAPINST.
