Hi,

I have no direct experience with Godex printers.

The main problem with label printers is that all these printers have their own unique printer languages which are not supported by the SAP system as described in the SAP Note 135894, which describes a workaround.

All print data including all printer sequences are created by an external program and uploaded into the SAP system. From the following URL, for Godex, there is a utility called QLabel:

http://www.godexintl.com/product_content.aspx?id=9&cid=4

You should use device type like ASCIIto print the barcode labels. The SAP system only replaces the symbols and besides that it sends the print data to the printer which was uploaded. The ASCII device type hasvery little maintained in the print controls.

So you need to design the label with the third party program for Intermec label printers. You then need to upload the label file to a standard text in transaction SO10 as described in the Note above.

Another possibility is to print via windows and device type SAPWIN which utilizes the windows print driver of the Godex printer. There could be problems with the barocdes via this method. You may need to install a barcode.dll on the windows system as described in SAP note 14561.
