Hi,

I get an error message Error code 0x80010002 when I try to publish from MDM publisher to Adobe InDesign CS4.

We use MDM version 7.1 SP005.

I have installed the pluin for Adobe InDesign CS4.

Adobe CS4 is installed on my PC and open.

MDM server and MDLS are running.

We use windows servers.

Hope someone are able to help me.

Kind regard

Jonna

Hey Jonna,

Are you mentioning your Local System name or "local host" while publishing? If this is the case then please try by using IP address of the local System. We faced same kind of issue and was solved when we used IP address instead of Host Name.

Please revert with your findings.

Best Regards,

Hi Shiv,

Thank's very much for your reply. I have tried with the OP address but unfortunately it makes no difference.

Kind regards

Jonna

I found out that when I leave the paper module field blank, instead of entering IP address or local, it works

Hej Jonna

Send mig en mail på "kuj at solar.dk"

jeg tror vi kunne udveksle en del viden.

jeg har arbejdet med Publisher og MDM i et par år.

Hi Jonna,

the same occured to me some weeks ago. You may need to switch off your firewall or include InDesign in the exceptions. Then even the hostname of your local PC should be sufficient to connect to InDesign from Publisher.

Hope that helps.

Hi Christian,

Thank's a lot for your reply, but Adobe InDesign is already marked as exception in firewall.

Kind regards

Jonna
