Hi Shaji,

please have a look at [your thread|; and open the URL to document [How to send IDoc from SAP ECC to MII IDoc Listener 12.1|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/a02bc706-15f2-2c10-1aab-a1927ada11f0]. The gateway host and gateway server is entered in SAP tran SM59 (see page 7).

Hi

Thanks for your reply. Page 7 explains that where Gateway Host and Gateway Service can be mentioned in SAP ECC. My question is do we need to provide that info in MII server while configuring IDOC listener. If yes where we need to provide it

Thanks

Hi Shajikc

No you dont need to enter Gateway Host and Service in MII. What you need to do is

- go to Netweaver http://serverName:portid/ -> configuration Managment -> Infrastructure -> Application resources

- select XMIIIDOC01 (or any ) , resource type is Resource Adapter

- under property , configure programid, sapclient, server, portnr and so on (maxReaderThreadCount minimum value is 1)

I would first read this document before doing any configuration:

[IDoc Listeners|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/a02bc706-15f2-2c10-1aab-a1927ada11f0?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true]
