Hi Gurus,
I have the following scenario in a material BOM
BOM "A" has 5 material defined in it as child
Item Number Part Qty
Item xx1.0 P (alternate) 1
Item xx1.0 Q (alternate) 1
Item xx2.0 x 1
Item xx3.0 y 1
Item xx4.0 Z 1
Item P & Q are alternate in the bom A and has 50% Usage probability defined in alternate group.
Requirement
When we post material A, only following parts are to be get back flushed
Part P - 50%
Part Q - 50%
Part x and y to the percent of part P i.e in this case 50%
Part Z 100%
Can we accomplish this by assigning x and y in different alternate groups (different than P and Q) and with usage probability 50% each? Suggested BOM is below.
Item Number Part Qty Alt.Grp Usage Prob
Item xx1.0 P (alternate) 1 99 50%
Item xx1.0 Q (alternate) 1 99 50%
Item xx2.0 x 1 55 50%
Item xx3.0 y 1 66 50%
Item xx4.0 Z 1 77 100%
Note:
In the BOM of Q , part x and y are linked, hence do not want to 100% linking in BOM A. BOM of Q is as below
Item Number Part Qty
Item xx1.0 P 1
Item xx1.0 x 1
Item xx2.0 y 1
Procurement type of
A is inhouse manufactured
PQXYZ are bought out items
Please suggest!
