Link profit center to Division

Hi Expert,

My client requirement is that at the time of maintaining material master when we are entering division system should pick the corresponding profit center. Can we do this in configuration or we need to do through ABAP?

Hi,

I dont think there is any direct assignment betwen Division - Profit Centre.

Hence you need to go for enhancement to update the profit centre field wrt: Division.

Note: Before going for development, check for feasibility. Because Division is Material specific & Profit centre is Plant specific.

Not possible in standard SAP. Because in standard SAP, business area concept has become obsolete. Balance sheets can be made for profit centres too. You will have to go for ABAP developement.
