Alignment issue in smart style

I have created a paragraph in smart style with Alignment as right-aligned and using this parargrapgh format in footer section of the table in my smart form. I see the alignment as right aligned in the text node in footer section but when the print preview is seen it is actually aligned to the left. The same paragraph format was used in main area also for currency field and its correctly aligned to the right in print preview.

why is this happening. The smart style was correctly assigned in smart form.

Is there a way to align my footer text to the right?

Thanks,

Rajesh.

Hi Rajesh,

For the text that is incorrect, do you tab stops and symbols with the length specified? e.g. &symbol(12C)&

If so, in recent support packs, the alignment is based on the full length of the symbol so the text is oushed to the right. If you remove the length specification e.g just use &symbol&, is the problem corrected?

Aidan

Thanks for the replys guys.

Aidan, yes i am using Tabs. i have some thing like 'TOTAL FOR,,,,&FS_CUSTOMER&' ,,,,,,&FS_CUST-NETWR(C<)&

I tried it by removing the tabs and it seems working fine.

What do i have to do to make it work now?

Thanks,

Rajesh.
