SAPGUI 720 PL 3: '/' unrecognized when using se16n or other transactions...

Hello,

I am trying to find a material number that has a slash in it 'PGH123/002'. Using SE16N with the specific material, it cannot be found. If I try to transmit the material using BD10, material not found. If I search using / in SE16N the material is found. If I use MM03 the material does exist. Odd error. Using debugger I see the values in the range and see the system getting a subrc 4 back from MARA.

Seems like a bug in the GUI as my coworkers using 7.10 have no problems seeing or using the '/'s in their work.

I am curious to know if others using 720 PL3 can replicate this issue? (it was also present in PL2)

XP SP3 / 720 PL3 / R3 4.7 Enterprise

In Se16n, on the select options... a short dump will occur if you clear out all the entries and then try to paste a new group in without having any open boxes to enter into. This corrupts the table controls and you have to log out and log back in to resolve the issue of '/'s being ignored.
