Hi,
I tried to use Remote Key feature on a hierachy table but coulnd't find the field "Remote key " in the import manager in the tab "map fields". The repository is the SRM-MDM 3.0 on an MDM 7.1 SP05
I also checked the the table in import manager and there the table hierachy has "key mapping" set to yes and unique fields is empty.
What I am doing worng ?
Regards
Bernd
Hi Bernd
Define a remote system in the Console (in the Admin section) as inbound/outbound. When connecting to the source with the Import Manager, select the correct remote system (do not use the "MDM" remote system.)
If key-mapping is on for the destination table, then you will see a field called "[Remote Key]" in the Destination fields which you can map to.

Mark

Dear Bernd,
Check whether you have enabled "Key mapping" = Yes in MDM console for the table which you are lookiing for.

I checked the parameter in the MDM-console and Key-Mapping is set to YES.
In MDM-Console I can see for table hierachy:
Type = Hierachy
Display field = Hierachy Name
Unique fileld = <empty>
Key-Mapping = Yes
Hide table = No
Is there a how to guide or blog availabe regarding the "remote key" functionality ?
Bernd
