Hi,

Check whether the users J2EE_GUEST and SAPJSF created in eth ABAP UME client and ensure that the users are not locked and u r able to login to the ABAP UME client with those users.

Hi,

I have checked those users exist in 001 client and the J2EE_GUEST was locked and password was deactivated. I have unlocked and assigned the master password, but still same issue. I have checked one recently installed Solution manager system, there also J2EE_GUEST was locked and deactivated but that server is working fine. Please help me in resolving the issue.

Thanks,

Ajay.

Hi,

What about the user SAPJSF ? Try to unlock the user J2EE_GUEST and set the master password(the password which u have specified for this user in the SAPINST) and retry the installation. I hope the user J2EE_ADMIN is still accessible.

Hi,

SAPJSF has the readonly access role and is active as system user. I had already reset the J2EE_GUEST user PW to Master Password and J2EE_ADMIN also working fine with Master password.

Options I have tried.

1. Retried SAP Installation many times as of SAP note.

2. Stopped and restarted the Server and started the Installation again.

3. Checked Configtool for the non-int values for the parameters mentioned in above note.

4. Upgraded Kernel to the latest level with JSPM.

5. Tried upgrading JAVA stack (SAPJEE comp etc) but since JAVA is down its not possible.

6. Set the JAVA PATH env.

I have installed JDK 1.4.2_28 latest version. Does it cause any issue?

Thanks,

Ajay.

Hi Ajay,

Search for the server0 log and post the same here.

Hi Varadharajan

it was the same error I have posted in server_out. I remember both were with same content. Sorry I am not in the office now.

Hi Ajay,

It seems your JDK problem.

Install the JDK with version JDK 1.4.2_12.

Thanks

Hi Ajay

The problem most likely lies in the UME property values. You need to use the configtool to check them since the AS Java is offline. Since this is a dual stack system, ensure that ume.persistence.data_source_configuration is set to

dataSourceConfiguration_abap.xml

Refer to the documentation [Offline Configuration of the UME for AS ABAP|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/45/1bbdccc7850064e10000000a1553f7/content.htm]

There maybe more information about the issue in the server defaultTrace, so if checking the UME properties does not resolve the issue match the errors in std_server0.out to the errors from the same timestamp in the defaultTrace

Hi Ajay,

Maintain the correct password for the J2EE_Admin in the secure store in the config tool. Also check the following entries are maintained correctly in the property com.sap.security.core.ume.service in the path config-data-->Global Server configuration -> Services.

ume.r3.connection.master.client

ume.r3.connection.master.password

Hi all,

I have tried the options u told

1. I have tried JDK 1.4.2_17 and 1.4.2_26 and now again 1.4.2_28 but for all versions error is same.

2. Compared Config tool parameters with existing server which are same but few extra params in new installation.

3. I have checked the path config-data-->Global Server configuration -> Services for

ume.r3.connection.master.client -

001

ume.r3.connection.master.password------ already exists ******

4. Edited master PW, client, ashost local - > HOSTNAME, sysnr $$- >70.

Issue still not resolved getting the same error.

Thanks,

Ajay.

As mentioned by Patrick

>>There maybe more information about the issue in the server defaultTrace, so if checking the UME properties does not resolve the issue match the errors in std_server0.out to the errors from the same timestamp in the defaultTrace

The isse is Caused by: com.sap.engine.services.security.exceptions.BaseSecurityException: No active userstore is set.

if you search on marketplace or SND for No active userstore is set you will get solution.

Hi,

I have also checked default trace file I dont find any difference and there is no time stamp to compare like in server.out file.

There is one error about J2EE_GUEST above some lines but I have already unlocked and assigned Masterpassword. Please find the log below

hi All,

Restarted the fresh installation again but again faced the same issue. Is there any help available on this? Please suggest if I am missing any thing to check as part of troubleshooting.

Thanks,

Hi Ajay

The AS Java is trying to find the first configured anonymous user from the value of parameter ume.login.guest_user.uniqueids

This user is J2EE_GUEST but the user cannot be found, and the AS java cannot start without an anonymous user.

Please doublecheck which client is specified for ume,r3,connection.master.client. Then log directly onto that client using SAP GUI and check that J2EE_GUEST exists in that client.

Are there are any other details about the J2EE_GUEST user in the trace, for example that the user is not unique for example?

Hi Patrick,

By default installation locking user J2EE_GUEST, have checked in other system also J2EE_GUEST is locket byr system manager but working fine there. I have also tried unlocking J2EE_GUEST and assigned master password and tried logging in through GUI successfully. I have also checked master client in config tool which is 001. But still issue exists.
