Impact on changing time zone in stzac

Hi All,

I have problem in sending mails in my system. Mail are processed after two hours due to timezone difference.

Now the solution for this is to change the System Time Zone in STZAC transaction.

My doubt, Is there any impact in changing time zone at another functionality or operation of system?

Is it safe to change?

Hi,

There shouldn't be huge difference between the system time zone and the user's default timezone (say 4 hrs), u would frequently face ABAP dumps. Also the workload statistics will not work properly if the System Time Zone and the User's Default Time Zone are different.

I think yes, its safe to change. We also had the same issue and did the timezone changes no much impact on system functionality.
