HI,

What is Value Mapping Tables?

As for my knowledge if sender passing sex as Male and Female we change it as 1 and 2 something..

Value Mapping we do in Integration Repository or in Integration Directory ?

Any example blog on that?

Hi,

Value mapping tables are defined in ID.These tables contain values that are to be replaced mutually. You will define values with a particular schema and agency. these are stored in value mapping tables with some unique ID.

Now in IR you will define the value mapping using the agency andschema group that u defined in ID. When appropriate set of agency,schema and value encountered it will be replaced iwth its correspong entry in the value mapping table.

Hi,

In IR goto graphical message mapping editor there u ll find option CONVERSIONS in that u can find value mapping.

In ID go to Object -> New and select Value mapping group . There u ca define value mapping groups.
