implementing OSS note

Hi,

I am implementing oss 362218 in EBP, there is badi BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK,

when I implement this badi, implementation is not getting activated.

Any solution is highly appreciated

Hi,

There is no error message, its saved and created transport request. when I open it, it is in inactive state.

note: manually implementing OSS note.

Have you implemented the changes given in this note for the table PO_ITEM_TEXT in the BADI "BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK"?

IS there any other implementation for this BADI which you have created and activated that too?If so,activate only 1 implementation.

Hi,

yes, I have implementedthe changes,for this Badi, what I did is -using Tcode se18 gave this badi, under menu - implementation overview to get to implementations.

created implementation, clicked on method FILL_PO_INTERFACE - added oss note code here.

Is this right ?

Yes, there is another implementation exists for this Badi and that is in active state.so,

can't I activate this implementation?(bcoz already one active implementation)

Hi,

Yes.You cant have 2 active implementations at a time!Thats the reason your new implementation was not getting activated.

1st deactivate the 1st implementation.Incorporate that logic also in ur 2nd(new) implementation and actiavte the new implementation.

Otherwise i dont think there should be any problem.

I want to add the code in the first implementation.

is it going to effect the first implemetation if i add second implementation code in the bottom?

functionality of both codes are different.

(first was implemented by other person)

Hi,

You can add the new implementation logic at the bottom of the 1st implemntation.But use the appropriate conditions if required for each of the logic.
