LOT Creation for Retest batches

Hi,

For the specific BATCHES of the Materials the inspection lot is not generating even though the Retest Date is completed.

Any specific Reason,

i have POSTED a New lot for the same materiel with Retest date which falls 05 days .

It is working, why not some Batches are Getting posted in the inspection lot ?

I got solution

We need to create two variants .

If the lot is to be created 5 days before and stocks also to be when the lot is created then in QA05 you have to delete the old variant and create a new variant with the following settings.

1) Materials to be given in multiple selection

2) Plant to be given

3) Initial run in days should be 5 and

4) To inspection stock at lot creation.

If only inspection lot is to be created 5 days before and stocks to be posted to quality on the day of inspection then you have to create 2 variants.

The first variant should have the following settings

1) Materials to be given in multiple selection

2) Plant to be given

3) Initial run in days should be 5 and

4) Lot creation only

The second variant should have the following settings

1) Materials to be given in multiple selection

2) Plant to be given

3) Initial run in days should be 0 and

4) To inspection stock at inspection date.

Both these variants have to run in background daily.

I am using QA07 Only.

Here the requirement is as below

System makes a delayed transfer posting that allows the batch stock to remain in unrestricted-use stock as long as possible.

We can still carry out inspections during this time. If the system makes delayed transfer postings, a job should be scheduled every day (Variant ZQA07), to ensure that the stock is Posted to quality stock.

System will post to Quality stock , when the day reaches the test Date.

In Standard SAP do we have any option to post the stocks prior to the Re-test date.

QA07 does what you want. It has a choice of creating the inspection lots in advance and moving the stock to QI on the inspection date. That is standard functionality. Not sure why you need two variants.
