RFC Receiver

Hi,

In my scenario I need to use an RFC on my receiving system. Can you please inform me on the pre-requisites of the configuration to import the RFC in the Design and have RFC connection to the receiving system? Do I need to add the system in the SLD first before I could import the RFC? Do I need to create an ABAP connection in SM59?

->Create an RFC destination(Type-ABAP) from your PI system to SAP R/3.

->In IR, expand the SWC, and double-click on the version

On the Definition tab, select the Interface Import option as u2018Import of RFC and IDoc Interfaces from SAP Systems Permittedu2019

Specify the System name and Client of the SAP system.

Import the RFC structure and proceed with the IR part

You need to import the RFC in PI system and you also need to create an RFC connection of type ABAP.
