Error in target system : iDOC -XI-iDOC

We are getting this error in smq2 when we are processing bulk idocs thru XI <i><b>"Error in target system "</b></i> . The setting on receiving system is <u>trigger by background program .</u>

HI Manish,

If you get this error in SMQ2 are you able to reprocess the queue ?

Also check are you getting any error in SM58 ?

The error tells , something like it is not able to send the message to Recieving system and not able to find the Receiver idoc adapter

Hi Moorthy ,

I was able to reprocess the queues. I will check with SM58 . This error comes when we process say 50,000 idocs . We are also planning to put an app server on Receivig System.

Hi Manish,

If so, can you control the number of idocs sending to XI box. This is workaround

Is this may be because of number of work process . I am not sure here. So you can increase the work process.

But you can seek help from SAP to audit on this provided if you are able to reproduce the error..
