Dear sir

i m facing following proble m while doing qa32 .(result recording)

Characteristic results cannot be recorded for inspection lot 010000026623

Message no. QE181

Diagnosis

You cannot record any characteristic results for this inspection lot. The material master has been set up for the existing inspection type in such a way that results recording is not supported.

Procedure

Confirm defects for this inspection lot or select another inspection lot in which you can confirm the characteristic results.

HI,

Check ur material master quality view. select that particulat inspectiontype for which u are getting error and check whether 'Check Char' indicator is set.

if it is not set then u will not be able to record results for that lot.

even if u set this indicator now, it will be reflected in new lots only.

Hii,

Check Inspection lot status for CRTD PASG. This status becoz of Inspection plan inconsistency. Now goto QP02> Check the validity date of inspection plan to the lot and check whther u have assigned MIC's. Then goto QA02>select insp lot and in the Change screen select Insp sepcification tab and click assignment for assigning changed Inspction plan, now save the lot will have REL status. Morover goto QAC3--> to reset sampling procedure if required.

Also check in QM view material master for activation on check charc and Insp with Task List tab.
