HI, everyone

How to get the functionality in Sourcing Cockpit such as Check BADI, Change BADI. because I need to do about checking and controlling in sourcing cockpit in SRM 7.0.

Dear Jesse,

In SRM 7.0 the DOC_CHANGE_BADI is not called at all, it is also the case for the DOC_SAVE_BADI. This is a change from the

SRM 7.0 release and is now standard. The reasoning behind this was to ensure top security in SOCO. In order releases changes could be made to requirements and then they would bypass approval this is now not the case no changes can be made in SOCO other than the usual changes eg quantity.

Hi Lei

You mean you would like to edit some things in the Sourcing cockpit and based on the data you would like to put some custom messages is what i understand so for that you can incorporate the edit functionality of the SC by refering to the link below and then you can change the cart .

For having error messages in the Sourcing cockpit you could do so by doing code changes in the webdynpro component FPM_GAF_COMPONENT where you can add your own custom message based on the data you get in debug mode . might require some kind of hit and trial for you to arrive at the exact solution ..

BBP_DOC_CHANGE/CHECK_BADI are BADIs to influence/customize the change and check process of individual procurement document. Sourcing cockpit, however, is a central place for sourcing, which could potentially involve differen types of documents, such as SC, PO, CTR, RFQs. That said, there are BADIs for sourcing specific purposes, such as BBP_WF_LIST for customizing your sourcing result list, and BBP_SOS_BADI which is to customize your sourc of supply list.

check badi is used to validate the data in the SRM business Objects like sc,po,gr,contract etc.

change badi is used to modify the data in the SRM business Objects like sc,po,gr,contract etc.

BBP_SRC_DETERMINE BADI helps the shopping cart to venture cockpit or not.- In this badi you can control the cockpit determination by the business custom logic.

a professional purchaser you can use the sourcing application to process requirements and to determine the best source of supply.

Prerequisites

You have determined if and when the system accepts requirements for sourcing (for example, only for items without a source of supply) in Customizing for SAP Supplier Relationship Management under SRM Server--> Sourcing --> Define Sourcing for Product Categories .

Note

If sourcing is not activated for a product category, the system creates incomplete purchase orders in SAP SRM. The purchase orders are incomplete because the source of supply is missing.
