Bar Code system using lean WM

Hi,

We are planning to use lean WM for one of our storage locations. However, we also want to use RF bar code funcationality using mobile data entry in WMS.

Is it possible to use RF Bar code functionality for lean WM?

Hi,

You can use Barcode functionality in any process even it is warehouse or plant. If it is standard full WM you can utilize standard LM transactions. Since it is lean you can make use of some LM transactions.

With the help of ABAP person you can customize any kind of transactions to fit in the Mobile PDA using Module Pool program and you can make use of the transactions. since we have inbuild ITS in ECC6, you can easily design the txn.

If you are able to design the txn. successfully, you can do any process using the PDA in such places were you require to reduce the man hours, or to increase the process efficiency.

Note: It depends upon your business, what kind of transactions your going to perform using the PDA.
