PI 7.0 Integration Repository Launch Issue

Hi Exeerts

My Lap top runs on Windows Vista and I have SAP PI 7.0 version, When I try to open the Repository I get the error, I have Java 1.6 runtime Environment and it requires Java 1.4 version,

Eventually I have replaced the Java 1.6 with 1.4 Version but still it gives some problem, What is the best solution to get resolve this issue

Hi,

Uninstall JAVA from your laptop and download the JAVA and try to install it.

You can use any of the JAVA versions.

Windows Vista has been replaced with the Widows XP and it worked

Hi PR,

Go to control panel and uninstall what ever java version its already there.

make sure there is no 1.6 or 1.4 in it.

Now get JDK 1.4.2 and install this version on your laptop and try opening IR it should work.

PS: Before that check in google weather vista can run without 1.6 installed on it. else you have to use XP.
