Hide fields for a custom header table, how to?

Hello all @SDN,

we added in SRM 7 a customer table which contains a dozen of custom field. In SRM7, that table is visible for contracts in the webdynpro /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_CT, view V_DODC_CT.

We would like to hide from the view some columns, basically we would like to show only the first 5 custom fields which are the relevant ones for the user.

In Customizing, following the path:

SAP Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Extensions and Field Control (Personalization) -> Create Table Extensions and Their Fields and Actions -> Configure Control of User Interface for Extension Tables

we reached the program /SAPSRM/SAPLWD_EXT_V.

There - following the text guide from customizing - we are able to set some properties of our custom table.

In particular:

- Setting Scroll Col to '5', we get our desiderata, that is to see only the first five custom fields in our table... but the flag on FooterVisible makes an horizontal scoll appear on the bottom, so the user could see also the remaining fields;

- otherwise, disabling FooterVisible, then Scoll Col seems not to be valued, so: the scroll disappears, but more that the first five fields are displayed.

Is there any solution to achieve our goal?

Thanks in advance.

We opened a note to SAP for this issue, they passed the task to the development team so I guess there's not an easy solution.

I'll eventually update the thread with further info from SAP.
