DR Strategy for Solution Manager

Hello All,

We are planning a 2 System Landscape for SolMan

SolMan Dev and SolMan PRD

SolMan PRD will have Service Desk and ChaRM Configured.

Now, my questions are,

1. If SolMan PRD crashes or is down for some reason say for example 1 complete day how do I ensure Company's regular operations like Service Desk and ChaRM continues? Can I plan something with my SolMan DEV?

2. If I need to restore a backup of SolMan PRD anytime do I need to do any post processing steps for Service Desk and ChaRM?

Another Point,

3. If SolMan crashes, what would happen to creation and movement of Transports? Becuase once ChaRM goes live we would enable creation, release and movement of Transports only through ChaRM.
