Quantity updation in the order after releasing invoice to accounting

Hi,

Even after I release an invoice to accounting, the system allows me to change the quantity in the related order of the invoice.

Is this a Std SAP behaviour?

Hi,

Yes, its standard behavior, you can still change some fields like quantity after follow-up documents were created.

Once the document status is set to complete, even though you change the quantity, system does not allow you to create follow-up documents.

If donu2019t want to change the fields after its completed, then you must implement the userexit: USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION

Yes, this is a standard functionality of SAP, the reason is after invoice if customer orders for additional qty then you can update the same order line item with the qty.
