Using BAPI with LSMW

Hello Experts,

I have created an LSMW using BAPI - BAPI_STSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2. But i'm encountering an error on processing the iDOC. The error is that the product in my uploaded file is not existing. But, the master data of this product is maintained. What/where should i look to ensure that the product is maintained properly for use in BAPI?

If someone could point me to some materials where i could further read about iDocs and BAPIs, it will be very much appreciated.

Hi,

1. Goto the BAPI transaction. In that select the "Alphabetical" table.

Select the STOCKAPS Business object. In that, select the method SaveMultiple2. In the right side "Details" table will show the BAPI BAPI_STSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2.

Select the "Documentation" tab. There you can see the brief documentation.

Select the "Project" tab in the rightside window. There you can see the BAPI creation steps.

2. In SE37 transaction give the BAPI BAPI_STSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2. There is also you can see the documentation for the INPUT parameters.
