ECL Viewer Dock mode

Hello,

We are using ECL viewer to view scanned invoces that are stored in SAP Content Server.

We are able to view the stored image in a NEW window however when we change the settings to view the scanned image

in dock mode it gives an error as follows

A dialogue window appers with message " Cannot create Temp File" when we click "OK" another dialogue window with message " Unable to open document" when you click OK we can see a message in the status bar as follows

File http://10.18.10.80:1090/contentServer/ContentServe contains errors and cannot be displayed

Workstation application in network settings in transaction DC30

Workstation application : TIF

Data carr type: R3

Application Type : 1

Path with prog. name: c:\windows\sap\gibfx %f

Path for ref. file : blank

Can anybody tell me what is wrong in the settings when using dock mode?

Kindly check following scenaro :

Workstation application : TIF

Data carr type: R3

Application Type : 1

Path with prog. name: blank

Path for ref. file : blank

"StartAuth " is ticked.

Hi Sudhakar,

For dock mode, maintain the following values for App type 1,

Path with prog. name - EAIWeb.webviewer2D.1 %SAP-CONTROL% to display your TIFF files and re-test the scenario.

Content Rep : Z1

Description : Invoice Management

Document Area: ArchiveLink

Storage Type : HTTP Content Server

HTTP Server: 10.18.10.80

Port: XXXX

HTTP Script: ContentServer/ContentServer.dll

Basic Path: /usr/sap/DEV/SYS/global/

Phys. Basic Path: /usr/sap/DEV/SYS/global/

Archive Path: blank

Phys. Archive Path: /usr/sap/DEV/SYS/global/

Document Types

ZICS_TIF : ICS Incoming Invoice u2013 TIF u2013 Active

Transaction :OAG4 Archive Link Settings for Hit List, Display and Storage

Default Hit List Selection: Display Docs Directly

Windows Viewer Settings : Include ECL Control and Use HTML Control

Viewer Settings WEBGUI: Use HTML Control

Deactivate Generic Object services in Viewer u2013 unchecked

Doc Display as Dialog Box : Unchecked

Deactivate Data Provider cache: Unchecked

Transaction DC20

Define data carrier type u201Carchiveu201D

This has one entry as follows not sure how it came here in the first place

AR - Archive Files - checked

Do we need to define a new data carrier type?

And then define archives?

Define data carrier type vault. Is this required ?

Define data carrier type server front end. Is this required?

It is set as

Z1 - Frontend -- Path = c:\temp\

Transaction DC30

Select TIF and click Define work station application

Workstation application : TIF

Data carr. Type : Z1

Application Type : 1

Path with Prog name : EAIWeb.webviewer2D.1 %SAP-CONTROL%

Path for ref. file : blank

I'm able to view the image in a New window why only the dock mode is not working?
