Webgui- Inbox ( Switch Off Preview, attchment - Link not avaliable)

Hi ,

When we log in through WebGUI, the Business Workplace inbox has the "Switch Off Preview Option" disabled in the menu->setting option. We are unable to change the option as it is disabled.

We need to enable that option in the menu inorder to view the attchments. Pls let me know if you have solution for this.

Hi SS,

This is not an authorization issue. Transaction SBWP - Business Workplace - is not suited to SAP GUI for HTML (WebGUI), due to the complexity of the application. Use is only possible in the SAP GUI for Windows through the use of several SAP GUI controls on a screen and the intensive use of PC documents in the application itself.

The solution is to use the SAP GUI for Windows

Hi SS,

Welcome to SDN!

The issue might be due to some missing authorisation or parameter settings for the user in SU01.

You goto the SAP Business Workplace and from there give Transaction code <b>/nSU53</b> and press Enter.

You will get the missing authorisation for the previous transaction. From there you can identify the missing authorisation & maintain the same in SU01.

Hello.

We have the same problem with the "Switch Off Preview" option, from the menu. We check the SU53 and we haven't autorithations problems. Please somebody can tell us if in webgui is imposible to view the workitems preview at SBWP or in other case can tell us how activate it.
