HI All , i am encountering a very strange problem in SRM 7 Shopping Area page, the problem, is the shop link in the workset map opens the SHOP iview with all the expected data , but the shop button in the powl iview does nothing not even an error i have checked the traces and logs both in the portal and in srm , with no luck , our landscape is EP 7.01 sp 6 with srm BP for the java and a designated abap server .

Any ideas of to start solving this issue

Hi Ronen,

Please check the roles assigned to the particular user, it may be that the user is capable of executing the wizard/guided application framework shopping cart but is not allowed to access the professional shopping cart, try assigning the role for operational purchaser to the user and also the corresponding Portal role and retest.

Hi Ronen,

Did you end up finding the root cause of this issue? We are having the same apparent problem. One portal works and the other doesn't - with no apaprent differences.

Hello,

For button "Create shopping cart", check thefollowing:

Check your system alias in the portal. It should be SAP_SRM.

If you have created your own system alias, please maintain the following entries:

- In Customizing: SAP Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Technical Basic Settings

-> Define System Landscape: In column 'System Alias f. POWL Navigation' please enter your newly created system alias.

- In table /SAPSRM/V_PORT_C (with transaction SM30) maintain the following value: Port of the SAP Portal (Internal).

Kind regards,

Ricardo

Hi

It seems your iViews are not configured properly. Portal is not even calling SRM application here. Check with your portal team to look into this
