ESS : Standard Leave modification

Hello All,

We have added one new field to the standard Leave applcation using the service settings configuration in ECC. However by default this field as per standard will always be a input field. We need to make this new field as a drop down, so the user selects instead of a free text.

We are on ECC EHP4 SP5 and ESS/MSS Ehp4 in portal. We have been able to pull out the source code. Thee standard ESS DC for Leave is having a deep structure. We have also pulled out the code for the FPM components used in the standard application as well.

I need some documentation to understand how SAP is adding the new field on the leave application through the configuration. Does anyone know the new link for FPM documentation for the standard scenario's. The below link isn't working now.
