Catagorize Actual Materail and Services with CJI3

Hi,

We have detailed line item reports in CJI3, which is a combination of materials and services.

how to catagorize for material and services,

since there is no account assignment and item catagory with changelayout

If you have seperate cost elements for Materials and services you can filter based on CEs. we do the same here.

it is not sagricated based on the CE. it is based on the Account Groups which linked to gl accounts WRT to document number range .

Hi

You can try with the balance sheet GL account (when you choose GL account from list). Actual postings on WBS element will hit WRX account (OBYC). Generally services will have separate WRX GL account (GR/IR clearing services) and materials have different account. Hope this works for you.

Cost Element is criteria for separting cost in CJI3. I also suggest you to check all the field availalbe in CJI3 change layout. If you have different document type of service PO and Material PO than that can be one variant, Material no. get displayed in CJI3 for materail cost. Just check out all field option in chagne laout.

hrre CE are not defined as based on the material and sevices.

it is defined based on the account groups amd tje accpimt group relevant to the glaccount with the no range of the documents.
