Hi Experts,
I have a requirement for Flat File to RFC. I want to know that we will receive the file of 26MB in FTP server.
I need to pickup the file and send it to the BW system.
I just want to know will it possible to process 26MB of file.Is there any restrictions in PI system to process the file.
Please advise.
My system configs: Version: PI 7.11
SP Stack Number 04
Thanks,

Hi,
It depends on your XML message size after the adaper picks up the flat file. íf its around 50MB you can process it without issues provided the java heap is enough and dont have very complex multistep mappings.
check section 14 of this Note 821267 - FAQ: XI 3.0 / PI 7.0/ PI 7.1 File Adapter
To reduce the memory consumption in this scenario, consider configuring the setting "Maximum Recordsets per Message" for the sender channel. This will cause the input file to be split into multiple smaller mesages
