HOW TO ASSIGN DOCUMENT TO MATERIAL

I have created one material.

I have one drawing of that material.

How i should assign this drawing to material?

Hi,

In material master header screen in menu bar there is a one icon,named Services for the object click on this icon and in pop up

select the option Create > Create Attachment,select and atteched the required document,and save.

but just i want to know, whether this is regular practise?

or any other way is avaliable to attach drawing to material.

Hi Kishor,

The general practise is to link the document to the material or the BOM using object link functionality.

In BOM you can attach drawings to the BOM header and also components.
