Dear All,

I am MM consultant. I am going to do Quality module roll out for some plants.

Now my client wants to go with Visual inspection plan for 01 inspection type only.

To rollout this quality module what are all the master data required.

As per my knowledge below i have mentioned some of the master data.

1. materil master quality view needs to be extend with 01 insp type

2. QP01 Inspection plan

3. QS21 MIC

4. QS31 Insp method

5. Quality info record

any other master data i have missed out or not.

Configuration wise anything need to be configured.

Then while clearing the goods in QA32, results recording needs to be done first or without results recording also i can go further. Whats the use of results recording.

NOte: Already some of the company code having quality module.This rollout for another company code.

Result recording gives the traceability of the inspection lot especially when you are using the batch mgt scenario.more useful in the process industry.You can also populate the results in the certificate like delivery inspection.

rollout this quality module what are all the master data required.

I think you have covered most of the data

additional could be

1.inspection points

2.Quality work centers

3.sampling procedure

4.sampling scheme.

etc

mainly you may have to configure QCC3
